Nomad children in Tibet, as children the world over, find whatever items are convenient and available to play with. Tibetan culture, which works hard to accept death as a part of life, includes as playthings dried teeth and bones.
In this game, yak teeth are wandering yaks on a hillside, and a yak vertebra is a lone herder. Our version comes with a handmade felt pouch and a piece of green felt for grass. The teeth are collected by nomad children, who use the pocket money as they see fit.
Pouch is 15cm x 10cm, 8-9 teeth and one vertebra included
