Nomad  children in Tibet, as children the world over, find whatever items  are convenient and available to play with.  Tibetan culture, which  works hard to accept death as a part of life, includes as playthings  dried teeth and bones. 
             In  this game, yak teeth are wandering yaks on a hillside, and a yak  vertebra is a lone herder.  Our version comes with a handmade felt  pouch and a piece of green felt for grass.  The teeth are collected  by nomad children, who use the pocket money as they see fit.
